Hundreds of new analytics tools appear every year, but how to determine if any of the tools are the right choice for you?
Maybe an analytics solution that works for an organization in different industries will not be a perfect fit for you.
However, you can ask a few questions that can help you determine your direction, if you have not already made your final decision.
4 question to ask yourself if you are decisionmaker
1. Identify your most important business challenges and needs, take the time and check your business so that you can determine impartially what aspects of the business you want in advance.
2. Who will use the solution in their everyday business? Are they business analysts or managers? Maybe both, maybe someone else. Analyze what elements of the solution they want and need.
3. Consider the added value of the solution, value for money, but also the challenges of implementation.
4. Ask for help! There are consultants (just like us) who can help you determine what technology would be the right fit for you, answer the specific questions you might have about your challenges and give you an estimate of the time and resources needed to implement analytics solutions. This can help you greatly when making a decision. You should not be shy, ask for specifics even if you are only in the planning phase.
