On March 22nd at IBM Croatia, we organized yet another Business Breakfast, this time the topic was the new generation of Netezza – IBM Integrated Analytic System. Participants had the opportunity to go a step further and get acquainted with Sailfish, a new IBM appliance that inherited Netezza’s ease of use, performance, and scalability.
The first lecture titled IBM Hybrid Data Management (HDM) Strategy and Directions was hosted by guest lecturer Sergey Likharev, IBM Analytics Platform Segment Sales Leader CEE, after which our consultant from Data Management department, Kristina Bolfek presented the new characteristics and functionality of Sailfish.
The final lecture with an interesting demo titled IIAS Administration and User Interface was presented by Mladen Jovanovski, IBM’s Information Technology and Services Consultant, who explained the components and technology behind Sailfish.
